Full-time
We look for companies hiring someone with your specific background, then approach the people who can actually hire you.
Senior backend engineer, growing SaaS company, CTO / VP Engineering
Tell us what you're good at and what kind of work you want. We find companies that need it, research the opportunity, find the right person, and start the conversation for you.
Why you:
02 / What you're actually looking for
You don't need to know exactly which path will work. Tell us what you can do, where you want to work, and what you're looking for. We'll look for the opportunities.
We look for companies hiring someone with your specific background, then approach the people who can actually hire you.
Find companies that need your expertise but don't need, or can't justify, another full-time employee.
We look for companies with a concrete problem you can solve and start a conversation around that problem.
03 / The difference
04 / The job
One conversation. Your experience, skills, industries you know, the work you enjoy, where you want to work, and what you're willing to take. Full-time, part-time, consulting, whatever makes sense.
We don't just search job boards. We look for hiring signals, company changes, new funding, growing teams, operational problems, new projects and other reasons a company might need someone with your expertise.
We research the company and identify the person who can actually make something happen: a hiring manager, founder, department head, recruiter, COO, CTO or another relevant decision-maker.
We write a specific message around the company's situation, not a generic "here's my résumé" pitch. We reach out where the person is most likely to answer.
When someone is interested, we hand the conversation to you. From there, it's your expertise, your personality and your deal. We don't pretend to be you in the interview.
05 / What this actually looks like
Example opportunity
Northvale Systems just raised a seed round, doubled its engineering team and is hiring three senior engineers. The founder is still running engineering himself.
"Saw you just raised and are hiring three senior engineers.
Looks like the team is moving quickly.
If you're still running engineering yourself, I might be able
to take some of that load off your plate 1–2 days a week while
the team grows.
Worth a conversation?"
06 / Division of labor
07 / Start small
We don't need a six-month commitment or a perfect positioning document. We can test one profile, one market and one offer first.
We build a campaign around your expertise and run the entire opportunity-finding process. At the end, you'll know whether strangers in your target market are willing to talk to you.
One person. One campaign. Enough time to see whether the market responds.
08 / Before you start
Not exactly. We're working for you, not for the employer. We look for companies that could use your specific expertise, approach the relevant person, and create the initial conversation.
Yes. That's one of the three paths we can test. The difference is that we don't want your entire strategy to depend on clicking "Apply" on job boards. We can identify companies and hiring managers directly and approach them with a reason to talk.
That's a core use case. We can look for companies that have a problem large enough to need your expertise but not necessarily large enough to hire you full-time.
Yes. In that case we look less for explicit job postings and more for situations that create demand: launches, funding, migrations, hiring gaps, expansion, new initiatives, operational problems and other signals relevant to your expertise.
No. That's partly what the first conversation is for. Tell us what you're good at, what you've done before, what you don't want, and what kind of work sounds interesting. We'll help turn that into a campaign we can actually test.
No. We can control the search, research and outreach. We cannot control whether a company needs you, likes you or hires you. The pilot is designed to test demand rather than make a promise we can't keep.
No. We can handle the initial outreach and the first response, but once a genuine opportunity appears, you take over. The interview, technical discussion and relationship are yours.
09 / The first conversation
Thirty minutes. We'll figure out what kind of opportunity makes sense for you, where to look, and whether we think we can actually help.
